We remind passengers that they embark at the captain’s discretion and passengers known to be intoxicated will be refused carriage.

Flammable or explosive goods, items and/or devices are strictly NOT permitted anywhere on or around the aircraft.

All flights are conducted in accordance with the Australian Civil Aviation Safety Regulations. The Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) provides regulatory controls over civil aviation safety. So just as if you were taking a flight on a commercial airliner, there will be the obligatory safety talk, including "how to deploy your life jacket". Seat belts are to be worn at all times whilst the aircraft is in motion.

You can find out more from the CASA website, including their Air Safety Rules page.

We thank you in advance for your consideration and co-operation.

  • North American Harvard was designed in the late 1930s following demand for an aircraft purpose built to train military pilots all over the world. There was an increasing demand for military combat pilots and by the 1940s the total training hours required had been cut to only 200 hours total. Of that time 75 hours were in the T-6. The T-6G (1946) model was better than the previous designs because there was an increased fuel capacity, a more user-friendly cockpit layout and a tail wheel that was steerable by the pilot. The T-6 was being used as a basic pilot trainer right up into the 1970s and there are many that are airworthy today but only used in civil aviation.

  • Winjeel A85-426 is a former RAAF Forward Air Control Aircraft that operated extensively in the Hunter Valley from its base at RAAF Williamtown. The first Winjeel was designed and developed by CAC in Victoria. It was completed in 1951 to deliver the requirement for an aircraft to fulfil the basic training role previously carried out by the Tiger Moth and later the CAC Wirraway. The A85-426 was the 26th Winjeel produced and was delivered to the RAAF in June 1956. It was later converted from a training role to a Forward Air Control aircraft through the installation of smoke bomb racks and sights, upgraded radio equipment and aerials, and camouflage markings.
